What this pane shows

All AMIs owned by the account with creation date, the number of running instances using each AMI, and the launch templates / Auto Scaling groups that reference them. Stale AMIs — no longer used by any live resource but still incurring snapshot storage cost — are listed separately.

Key use cases

Identify AMIs safe to deregister (no live references + age > policy).
Confirm a base-image rollout hit every Auto Scaling group.
Audit AMI age before a compliance review.
Spot AMIs nobody bakes any more that are still being launched from.

How to embed

lp.js is the single-entry loader: it injects the shared LightPane runtime (and sd-embed.css) once per page. Add this pane's own stylesheet and script; the pane mounts itself wherever the matching <div> is in the DOM.
